before the ceremony pampering yourself and appear before your groom
looking more radiant and relaxed than you ever dreamed possible.
Your wedding will take place with crescent shaped Pink Gin Beach as the
backdrop and the sound of the surf to soothe jittery nerves. Tropical
flowers and woven greenery adorn the wedding arch located in a quiet
corner of the gardens. After the ceremony, new LaSOURCE friends will
shower you with rice to ensure that your marriage is blessed with
abundance... And the pop of a cork will find you and your
"guests" drinking a toast to your future.

Weddings at LaSOURCE in 2000 are provided at a cost of US$500 but
are free between May 16 and Nov 1, 2001 and include the

Honeymoons
LaSOURCE is the ideal place for couples to spend this
momentous event.
Whether your wedding is large or small, the days leading up to that
special day can be very stressful. What better way to begin your life as
"Mr. and Mrs." than to let the staff at LaSOURCE massage,
buff, wrap and oil your stress away. If you let us know that you on your
honeymoon and at no extra cost to you, we will help you celebrate with a
bottle of chilled sparkling wine, fresh fruit basket and a tropical
flower arrangement awaiting your arrival. We also want to give you some
help with stress relief when you go back home and what better way than
to experience our "honeymoon massage", where one of our
therapists will give you both some massage techniques that you can take
away with you. The "honeymoon massage" is also part of our
gift to you and can be booked by calling the Oasis early in your stay at
the resort.
Vow Renewals
Perhaps you would like to renew your commitment to your partner? LaSOURCE provides the opportunity to recommit yourselves in an idyllic setting. The following
original documents are required for persons getting married: a.) Passport b.) Birth Certificate c.) Non-Marriage Certificate - Obtainable from your home country or in Grenada as Non-Residents have to show proof of not being married. d.) If one or both parties are divorced, Decree Absolute. e.) If widowed, the deceased s Death Certificate f.) If name changed, the relevant Deed Poll. g.) If under 21 years of age both parents consent by way of affidavit from a Notary Public. |
| RESIDENCY |
Marriages can
normally be performed at the end of 4 working days, if all
necessary documents are in order. Guests must be resident on the island to initiate the process by forwarding the application to be married to the Governor General. For example, a couple can arrive on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday and be married on Friday of the same week. However, couples arriving between Tuesday and Friday may normally be married on a day between Monday and Friday of the following week. Weddings not performed on Weekends or Public Holidays in Grenada. |
| LOCATION OF CEREMONY |
The ceremony and reception will take place on the grounds of the resort. In the gardens or on the beach, as selected by the couple. |

| BAGGAGE CONCESSIONS |
For guests arriving from the United Kingdom, British Airways and British Caledonian permit wedding dresses to be taken into the cabin providing that they are carried in a garment holder. |
