Jack Tar Village is located just 15 minutes away from the airport and only three miles from the charming tourist town of Puerto Plata.  A popular favorite, this hotel has undergone extensive renovations and is now an adults-only resort catering to singles, honeymooners and couples alike.  Sitting on the palm-studded Playa Dorada shoreline, the extensive complex sits on beautifully - manicured lawns with a great view of the spectacular green mountains.  Jack Tar’s 290 rooms are found in 73 attractive villas scattered among the lush greenery of the grounds.  Bordering the hotel is the challenging, 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones.
